Social Innovation Abroad
This program has a front-loaded, 15 contact-hour crash course in Tunisian Arabic, together with Amideast Education Abroad's Community-Based Learning (CBL) course, a 45 contact-hour course about contemporary Tunisia that helps students contextualize their worksite experiences.
To complete the experience, students will have a work placement of approximately 150 total hours with a Tunisian organization specialized in a field related to Tunisia's post-revolutionary social, economic, and/or political life. Placements are available in English, French, or Arabic.
