ENGLISH ONLINE FOR ADULTS
This course develops students’ English language skills through practice of four key skills — listening, speaking, reading, and writing — as well as through grammar, vocabulary, and pronunciation exercises. Students explore contemporary topics within an interactive virtual classroom that provides many opportunities to practice real-world communication. Outside of the virtual classroom, students are expected to complete assignments that extend in-class learning, collaborate in online discussions, and use a variety of digital resources for further language practice with the guidance of the teacher.
Amideast Online classes require a desktop, laptop, or mobile device combined with a WIFI or minimum 3G network connection. Recommended browsers include:
- Desktop/Laptop: Chrome, Firefox, or Edge (latest versions)
- Mobile iOS (12.2+): Safari Mobile
- Mobile Android (6.0+): Chrome Mobile

SCHEDULE
Course times and days will be confirmed once a pre-registration form is completed and submitted, per the published schedule below. A free online placement test will then be administered. All class materials, including online resources, are provided to students. Class size is limited to a maximum of 16 students.
