This 20-hour course develops the English language skills of young learners through practice of four key skills — listening, speaking, reading, and writing — as well as through grammar, vocabulary, and pronunciation exercises. Students explore contemporary topics within an interactive virtual classroom that provides many opportunities to practice real-world communication. Outside of the virtual classroom, students are expected to complete assignments that extend in-class learning, collaborate in online discussions, and use a variety of digital resources for language practice with the guidance of the teacher.
