Engaging Youth in Learning, Service, and Leadership

Amideast Yemen’s Summer Connections initiative offers a range of programs designed to enrich the educational experiences of youth across Yemen. Through a combination of English Language (EL) and STEM camps, as well as community engagement initiatives, Summer Connections fosters personal growth, academic development, and civic participation.

Summer Connections 2025 includes:

Amideast Summer Camps: Fee-based English and STEM camps in Aden for children (ages 5–12) and young adults (ages 13–17), providing engaging and interactive learning environments.
Bridging Language and Community: Mini-grant-supported youth projects that address community needs through civic engagement, learning activities, and recreation.
Yemen English Language Teacher Support (YELTS) Summer Immersion: English language enhancement programs led by trained teachers in selected governorates, offered free of charge.

Through these opportunities, Summer Connections encourages youth to develop critical skills, build confidence, and contribute positively to their communities.
