The Strive Fellowship Program at Amideast/Aden and sponsored by the U.S. Mission to Yemen aims to equips 20 recent Yemeni university graduates with essential skills and real-world work experience needed in today's workforce.
Amideast will enhances participants' employability skills through comprehensive training in English language proficiency, computer literacy, essential skills, and peer facilitation, while providing hands-on experience through capstone project implementation via their own peer facilitation training. As a culminating experience, the program places qualified candidates as interns in professional organizations to prepare them for the job market.
Program Outcomes
By the end of the program, participants will possess the skills and knowledge necessary to enhance their employability, and contribute to the economic recovery of their communities. The program is designed to reach over 500 youth.
