Amideast Atlas
Amideast offers educational advising services that can include use of the platform, Amideast Atlas, which is an award-winning career and college readiness platform for high-school students. Its comprehensive resources help students to understand their interests and develop a plan to meet their postsecondary goals.
Advising sessions are led by one of Amideast’s certified advisers and the process will assist students to prepare for and move through the application process to institutions of higher education.
The Amideast Atlas platform
- Allows students to identify their career interests, skills, and goals through a series of tests.
- Helps students identify their academic interests.
- Provides links to several college search engines to help students determine which accredited higher education institutions in the United States to apply to.
- Offers a separate section that provides information on private institutions of higher education in the Middle East and North Africa.
- Guides students in identifying and showcasing their extracurricular activities on college applications.Advises students on engaging with admissions officers from the time of application to acceptance.
Amideast Advising Process
Amideast recommends that students take advantage of these services beginning in grade 10 or 11 through the university application and acceptance process.
Access
Students receive a minimum of one-year access to the platform.
College Match
Students can take advantage of the adviser’s expertise as well as use the tools in the Amideast Atlas platform to identify institutions most likely to accept them and those that best match students’ academic achievements and goals.
