Access for Adults

Access for Adults is a 70-hour program focusing on developing participants' English language conversational skills through discussion of U.S. culture, society, history, and current events, as well as other foundational English skills.

Program Description:

This program develops participants' oral, written, and digital communication skills to enable them to communicate more effectively and confidently in English. Amideast aims to achieve this goal through actively engaging participants in intercultural group work and project-based learning on themed topics related to American culture, values, society, and current issues.

Target Audience:

Access for Adults targets adults aged 30-45 from the West Bank, Gaza, and East Jerusalem, from a diverse range of professions and backgrounds. Participants who have an intermediate level of English language proficiency, interest, and motivation to improve their English language proficiency, and eagerness to know about the American culture and policies.
