Experience AI is an 8-hour teacher training program developed by the Raspberry Pi Foundation and Google DeepMind and delivered by Amideast. The program helps teachers introduce students to the foundations of AI and empowers them to become critical and responsible users. Young people will also benefit from new resources on AI safety, including how to protect their data.

ABOUT THE PROGRAM

This three-year program is designed to upskill youth in the UAE by developing their skills and knowledge of the STEM fields (science, technology, engineering, and mathematics) while contributing to the development of a sustainable country strategy. The program is designed to enhance the understanding that youth have of sustainability and to prepare them through STEM education to participate in achieving solutions that balance economic and social development.

Program Description

The new program will allow participants to benefit from theoretical and practical activities related to aeronautics engineering and sustainability within the field. Students will learn how to connect sustainable concepts and approaches to the aeronautics industry. will focus on expanding students’ knowledge, awareness, and interest in both sustainability and science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) concepts under a general aeronautics engineering theme.

The Youth English Program (YEP), funded by the U.S. Department of State, managed by Amideast and in collaboration with local partner Sheikh Saud bin Saqr Al Qasimi Foundation for Policy Research (AQF), provides English skills and activities to UAE national school students. We have concluded 5 cohorts of the program since 2018 reaching 365 students in total.
