The Amideast Leaders, Alumni, and Mentors (ALAM) network is excited to present a free, online event series on entrepreneurship! On Mondays and Wednesdays throughout February, we posted videos on our youtube channel and social media pages made by experts from the MENA region on topics related to Entrepreneurship. The series culminated in a live virtual event on February 25 to meet the speakers and build your network.

Dr. Faten Taki is taking on important issues in medicine and social justice simultaneously. From the south of Lebanon, Dr. Taki started her journey in cross-border collaboration as a teenager when she was selected for the Kennedy-Lugar Youth Exchange and Study (YES) program in 2004 - 2005. She continued her commitment to cultural exchange in 2011 - 2013 as a Fulbright grantee. Eventually, she completed both a Master's in Molecular Biology and Biotechnology plus a PhD in Biological Sciences from East Carolina University.

Amideast's Leaders, Alumni, and Mentors (ALAM) network is hosting a weekly live event throughout March 2021 to celebrate and share artistic talents in our communities in the MENA region and beyond. Each week will feature ALAM members who are involved in various artistic endeavors both personally and professionally — and you're invited! 

These special events are free and open to the public and will focus on four themes:

Amideast is delighted to hear so many alumni we've helped recruit and support around the MENA region and the US on the 22.33 podcast from the Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs (ECA) at the US Department of State! 

22.33 is free to anyone who wants to listen online or through a podcast app of your choice. Started in 2019, the 22.33 podcast features stories of cultural exchange participants from all around the world, including several individuals who started their international exchange journey through Amideast.

The Abdul Aziz Al Ghurair School of Advanced Computing (ASAC) has new scholarships for Jordanians, Palestinians, and Syrian Refugees in Jordan. If you fit the criteria and you're interested in gaining new skills or upgrading your skills in Software Development, read on!

Many alumni of programs administered by Amideast go on to succeed in our other programs as well! While this type of "laddering" is not uncommon, it is always an honor to share.

As an alumnus/a of any program administered by Amideast in any country, any year, you are invited to the online Career Fair on Localized, November 16 - 17, 2020, completely free!

Anyone who is no older than 30 years old by October 22, 2020, who was or is in charge of a finished between January 2018 - January 2020.
