Thousands of Egyptian youth are facing a brighter future, thanks to the WISE project. By providing career guidance counseling and soft skills training, including communications and negotiation training, the initiative is helping them learn how to become employable and stay employed.
Since 2015, Amideast/Egypt has partnered with Management Training Corporation (MTC) to support the USAID-funded WISE project. Amideast is providing technical leadership for the entrepreneurship and work-based learning activities undertaken to help technical secondary schools better prepare students to meet labor market needs, and providing technical expertise and support for efforts to improve labor market efficiency and improve the overall environment for workforce development.
