Heather Oliver

Ms. Oliver serves as Amideast’s Director of Advancement. In this role, Ms. Oliver manages the planning and implementation of a comprehensive advancement plan, including major and planned giving programs, foundation and corporate support, and donor relations. Prior to this role, she was Amideast’s Director of Exchange programs, overseeing a diverse portfolio comprised of domestic and international programs.  Her leadership and expertise have contributed to the successful creation, implementation, and expansion of exchanges that benefit participants throughout the MENA region, and who are supported by a variety of funding channels.  She has been working to support the mission of Amideast since 2009.

Ms. Oliver holds an MA in International Commerce and Policy from George Mason University and a BA in International Studies and Political Science from Virginia Commonwealth University.
