Ayad Zein

Mr. Ayad Zein has been supporting the Fulbright Program in different capacities for 16 years. As Director of the Fulbright Program, he oversees Amideast staff at our Washington, DC headquarters and in the MENA region who support the Fulbright Foreign Student program and Amideast’s administration of the program.  

Before joining Amideast in 2007, Mr. Zein worked at the US Embassy in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, serving in the Consular Section and the Regional Security Office. His past roles also include public relations for a major firm in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia; service with the Lebanese Army at the Ministry of Defense in Beirut, Lebanon; and freelance translation. He received a BA in French from Damascus University in Syria.
