Amideast is pleased to partner with Amazon on a training program designed to advance the employability of people with disabilities in Egypt.
PROGRAM OBJECTIVES
Amideast will develop and conduct a training program designed to enable 15 candidates with disabilities to successfully pass Amazon's hiring bar to be eligible for working in selected roles at Amazon.
The training will focus on three areas:
- English language proficiency
- Soft skills desired in the workplace
- Capacity building
ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA
Project Hope aims to attract applicants interested in achieving gainful employment or looking to upgrade their careers. To be eligible, interested candidates must be a:
- Person with a Disability (PwD) under Egyptian law
- Proficient in English at a pre-intermediate (A2) level or better
- University Graduate
- Egyptian national residing in Greater Cairo
