In response to the skills gap pervasive throughout the MENA, Amideast developed its Skills for Success® curriculum to provide youth with training in the skills that employers most-often cite as lacking among job seekers, including English language, ICT/computer skills, personal competencies, and professional skills. Labeling by the Union for the Mediterranean in 2014 enabled Amideast to pilot Skills for Success with high- school leavers in Morocco, Jordan, and Lebanon. Thereafter, Skills for Success programming has focused on university graduates, the regional demographic that, having the highest unemployment rates, is most likely to benefit from the program.
