ENGLISH FOR SPECIFIC SECTORS ONLINE
In today’s global marketplace, more and more professionals have individual or sector-specific reasons for seeking to improve their English language skills. Amideast offers English language courses that meet the communication needs of such sectors as tourism, medicine, aviation, banking, law, and journalism. In these online courses, students explore business topics relevant to a specific sector within an interactive virtual classroom that provides many opportunities to practice real-world communication. Outside our virtual classroom, students are expected to complete assignments that extend in-class learning, collaborate in online discussions, and use a variety of digital resources for further language practice with the guidance of the teacher.
Amideast Online classes require a desktop, laptop, or mobile device combined with a WIFI or minimum 3G network connection. Recommended browsers include:
- Desktop/Laptop: Chrome, Firefox or Edge (latest versions)
- Mobile iOS (12.2+): Safari Mobile
- Mobile Android (6.0+): Chrome Mobile
In this course, students receive 42 hours of teacher-led instruction. All classes require B1 entry level.
Course times and days will be confirmed once a pre-registration form is completed and submitted. An online English language placement test will then be administered. All class materials, including online resources, are provided to students. Class size is limited to a maximum of 12 students. The registration fee for every course is 590 TND, including books and certificate.
