Nader Almadbooh hasn't even finished college yet and he's already making big news.
An alumnus of the English Access Microscholarship program - sponsored by the US Department of State and administered by Amideast in a number of countries including Palestine, where Nader is from - Nader is now a Hope Fund Scholar studying engineering at Swarthmore college with the support of Amideast. When the covid-19 pandemic started to spread around the world, it disrupted normal life and learning as most of us know it. But Nader turned disruption into opportunity.
Read about how Nader joined a fellow student to offer computer science training in underserved communities this summer in the full profile on Swarthmore's webpage.
And if that isn't enough to convince you of Nader's impact, you can also read the article about his new program on the article Learn to Code for FREE in Chester.
Way to go, Nader! Thank you for all that you do, including inspiring us all to do what we can to make the most out of difficult times.
