Amideast’s main UAE office has moved to a new home. The large, modern quarters in the heart of Abu Dhabi’s commercial quarters will allow it to serve an increasing number of students and professionals looking to Amideast for a range of educational, training, and testing services, while supporting the growing needs of nearby businesses for training and testing. 
The new Abu Dhabi office features spacious training rooms equipped with the latest digital infrastructure, as well as state-of-the-art testing halls that can accommodate up to 40 test-takers at a time. It is also the new home of the Prometric Testing Centre, offering professionals and businesses convenient access to Prometric’s highly regarded assessment tools.
Since opening its first office in the UAE — in Abu Dhabi in 1996 — Amideast has advanced the goals of students and professionals seeking U.S. educational opportunities and to improve their qualifications. Its English language and testing services have benefited more than 200,000 individuals, and it has provided academic advising services to more than 100 schools and universities.
In addition, Amideast administers the U.S. Department of State’s Fulbright Foreign Student Program in the UAE. This has made it possible for 13 UAE students to receive prestigious Fulbright scholarships to pursue graduate studies at leading universities across the United States.
“The new office will support our efforts to reach out to key stakeholders in the public, private, and civic sectors to benefit people in all regions of the country, from Abu Dhabi to the northern Emirates,” says Amideast’s country director for the UAE, Rula Dajani. “With programs geared to students and professionals as well as for senior public and private sector leaders, we are working to expand opportunities for an increasingly diverse pool of individuals and institutions.”
