In 2022, we enhanced the workplace skills of nearly 110,000 individuals by:
- Advancing the economic prospects of 2,706 unemployed Moroccan youth through skills training, coaching and other support to improve their prospects for employment.
- Providing tailored language training to 1,400 professionals in the media, aviation, nongovernmental organization, tourism, government, and other sectors.
- Enabling more than 4,500 youth in Iraq, Lebanon, and Palestine to access training in six fields in high demand among employers—IT Support, Project Management, Data Analytics, UX Design, IT Automation with Python, and Digital Marketing and E-Commerce—with 750 obtaining Google certification in these areas.
- Improving the English language proficiency of nearly 14,000 adults, helping to meet the region’s need for a bilingual workforce.
- Enhancing the instructional practices of 146 teachers through the Professional Certificate in English Language Teaching (PCELT), thereby improving instruction for hundreds of students in their classrooms annually.
- Certifying English language proficiency levels and professional competencies of more than 100,000 test-takers.
- Strengthening the managerial and other workplace skills of 5,300 professionals regionwide.
- Expanding the entrepreneurial skills of 58 new and aspiring entrepreneurs in Lebanon.
