Participants will benefit from 275 hours of training over a 10-month period, divided into three phases.
Phase 1: Personal & Professional Skills
In this phase, you will grow critical personal and professional skills relevant to most careers, divided per the following:
- 150 hours of English language communication for the workplace
- 40 hours of computer and IT skills
- 35 hours of workplace readiness skills and entrepreneurial mindset
- 10 hours of personal development and decision-making
Phase 2: Specialization
Based on your qualifications and goals, you will receive training in either employability or entrepreneurship skills.
For the employability track, participants will practice their skills in an internship and receive 40 hours of training on job search skills to pursue entry-level jobs. As for those participants on the entrepreneurship track, participants will receive 45 hours of training on starting a business plus group-based and individual mentoring and coaching.
Phase 3: Pay-It-Forward
To share what they have learned with others and maximize the impact of the program on the community, participants from both tracks will be prepared to deliver self-development sessions to youth in their communities.
Who should apply?
To be eligible to apply for this training opportunity, applicants should be:
- Lebanese youth aged 20-24 with a university or equivalent vocational degree
- Young people experiencing difficult financial circumstances
- Currently unemployed and serious about finding a job or establishing a business
- Able to fully commit to all phases of this intensive training program
Shortlisted candidates will be required to take a placement test and sit for an interview before finalists are selected.
