CONVERSATION ONLINE
This online course will develop your ability to communicate effectively in the English language through the practice of listening and speaking skills, as well as pronunciation exercises. You will join classmates in the exploration of contemporary topics within an interactive virtual classroom that provides many opportunities to practice real-world communication in a wide variety of situations linked to your personal and professional life. Outside this virtual classroom, you will be expected to complete listening and oral assignments that extend in-class learning, collaborate in online discussions, and use a variety of digital resources for further language practice with the guidance of your teacher.
Amideast Online classes require a desktop, laptop, or mobile device combined with a WIFI or minimum 3G network connection. Recommended browsers include:

- Mobile iOS (12.2+): Safari Mobile
- Mobile Android (6.0+): Chrome Mobile
In this course, students receive 12 hours of teacher-led instruction, using class time to actively engage with others and practice the English language through current topics and real-world situations. Students will be engaged in different activities and discussions to improve their fluency as well as their language accuracy. Classes include a balance of active vocabulary and grammar development, pronunciation, intonation, turn-taking, conversational gambits and many others to maximize the amount of student speaking time and building of confidence through practice.
Course times and days will be confirmed once a pre-registration form is completed and submitted, per the published schedule below. An online English language placement test will then be administered. All class materials, including online resources, are provided to students. Class size is limited to a maximum of 20 students.
