Business English Online
Business English is a course offered by Amideast to develop the English language written and oral skills used in everyday work contexts of various sectors and industries. Students will gain invaluable experience working on their presentation skills, picking up new technical and corporate vocabulary and expressions commonplace in today's business environment. These communication skills are critical to evolving and smoothly facilitating meetings and partnerships in an ever-growing globalized world.
Like all Amideast Iraq's courses, it is taught using a student-centered, communicative approach within an interactive learning environment.
Amideast Online classes require a desktop, laptop, or mobile device combined with a WIFI or minimum 3G network connection. Recommended browsers include:
- Desktop/Laptop: Chrome, Firefox or Edge (latest versions)
- Mobile iOS (12.2+): Safari Mobile
- Mobile Android (6.0+): Chrome Mobile
Students receive 36 hours of teacher-led instruction, engaging with others and practicing the English language through current topics and real-world situations. All new students will be asked to take an online placement exam in order to accurately be placed in the appropriate level. The textbooks, sold separately from course fees, allow students to progress towards their professional goals and are available in our offices.
Class times are designed to accommodate the busy work schedule of a business professional. They are twice a week, for 90 minutes each lesson, in the evenings either Sunday and Tuesday, or Monday and Wednesday.
