Competitive College Club (CCC)

Are you graduating from high school in June 2015 and hoping to attend an undergraduate program at a university in the United States?

 

If you are, now is the time to consider different schools and begin to prepare for the application process! The majority of U.S. universities request applications before January 2015. We know that applying to a U.S. university can be a daunting process and gaining admission is extremely competitive, so we have designed a program to help you prepare. From financial aid basics and SAT / TOEFL prep, to crafting the perfect personal statement and finding friends you can depend on, the Competitive College Club (CCC) Cairo can help you every step of the way. 

Who can join the CCC?

The club is open to students in Cairo of any nationality in the 9th, 10th, and 11th grades with 90% cumulative (total) marks or higher, who wish to go to university in the United States.

What does the CCC do?

The club holds two meetings per month at AMIDEAST in Dokki which include a book club, unique presentations, club projects, and workshops.

U.S. university? Learn more about exhibiting at the 2014 StudyUSA Fairs

The StudyUSA Fairs are an annual event first launched in 1999, sponsored by AMIDEAST. Each year we welcome a large number of representatives from U.S.-accredited universities who share information on their programs with fair visitors in both Cairo and Alexandria. The Fairs include EducationUSA advising sessions, networking opportunities, visa sessions, and much more.

EducationUSA Competitive College Club (CCC)

The Competitive College Club (CCC) is a group of highly-competitive high school students aspiring to attend top universities in the United States. These qualified students are in the top of their classes and have outstanding achievements in the community. They receive comprehensive group advising in preparation for applying to U.S. institutions. The CCC program is run throughout the Middle East, and is offered in Egypt by AMIDEAST in both Cairo and Alexandria.

StudyUSA Fair 2012 in Cairo and Alexandria



The 2012 StudyUSA Fair in Cairo hosted the largest number of universities and colleges in years, with 40 U.S. accredited institutions. The fair was held at the Smart Village Conference Center, and received more than 1200 attendees of all ages and interests. The StudyUSA Fair in Alexandria was held at the Schutz American School and hosted 18 U.S. accredited institutions, and receiving more than 800 attendees. Both fairs also showcased the US Embassy’s Cultural Exchange Programs, Information Resource Center, and Visa Consular section to share with Egyptian students the short-term opportunities available to them as well as information about the student visa process.
