Trainees for Entry-Level Positions

The Trainee program is a 3 month program designed for fresh Secondary School or Higher Diploma graduates who are interested in longer term opportunities at AMIDEAST following the training. The trainee is entitled to a daily travel stipend during the trainee period.

Youth Summer Camp

Help your kids beat the heat with a fun and educational course at AMIDEAST!  Starting on June 9th, AMIDEAST is offering a unique summer camp for youth ages 8 - 15 years old.  Each week has a different theme, a National Geographic book that fits the theme, as well as daily activities, take-home crafts, English grammar/vocabulary/pronunciation practice, and includes lunch.  Your child will learn English in new and interesting ways, build confidence speaking and will have a great time!

AMIDEAST Oman New Premises Inaugurated

 

Muscat, April 7, 2013. His Highness Sayyid Taimur bin Assad Al Said officially opened the new premises of AMIDEAST today at a ceremony that featured remarks by U.S. Ambassador Greta C. Holtz and a letter from AMIDEAST’s President and CEO, Ambassador Theodore H. Kattouf, read by an AMIDEAST headquarters representative. Officials from various Ministries, private sector companies and educational institutions participated in the event and then toured the new facilities at Airport Heights, which include four floors of classrooms, computer labs, testing facilities, conference and meeting rooms, a library for educational advising, a student lounge, and staff offices.

AMIDEAST Students Praise New Location in Airport Heights

 

Oman Tribune Article, Muscat, January 15th, 2013 – The day after moving to its new location in Airport Heights, AMIDEAST welcomed students in an English language course contracted by the Ministry of Heritage and Culture, and prepared for new English language classes for the public to begin on January 19th. Test preparation courses – enabling students to prepare for the GRE, SAT and GMAT – are also underway or starting soon, with entrepreneurship training and leadership courses scheduled to begin in February.

“This new location is excellent, even though I live in Madinat Qaboos. This area can be taken as the heart of Muscat, making it easier for anyone to come here!” exclaimed Amna Haji, one of the students from the Ministry of Heritage and Culture.
